Why this recipe benefits your PCOS

The fiber content in the apples plays a pivotal role in this aspect, as fiber slows down the digestion and absorption of sugars. This gradual release of glucose into the bloodstream helps prevent sudden spikes and crashes in blood sugar levels. Additionally, the crumble topping, crafted with ingredients like almond flour and oats, contributes complex carbohydrates that further aid in maintaining steady blood sugar. By using a little dose of honey as a natural sweetener, the recipe ensures a gentler impact on blood glucose levels.
